You  are also provided the objects magnitude, diameter in Arc seconds and the distance from earth in thousands of light years as well as local sun rise and sun set times. You  can select the objects by their Messier, NGC, Caldwell  or IC numbers or by  category or select the object from the list.

All these items are tailored to your location. So please provide you  latitude and longitude. These values will be stored in a cookie so they will be available the next time you  come to this page.
